## Koutetsu no Majo Annerose Episode 3: A Crimson Betrayal
Ah, Amidahara! A den of vice where demon and man consort, a crucible where fate is forged in the fires of lust. It is here, in this wretched hive of scum and villainy, that our tale unfolds. Episode 3 plunges us deeper into the chaotic depths, weaving a tapestry of betrayal and carnal desire, more tangled than the beard of a hermit.
Our hero, Tachibana Rikurou, remains a pawn in the grand game of witches and sorcerers. Bound to Annerose, the Steel Witch, by an oath as unyielding as iron, he finds himself separated from his mistress and cast into the depths of Amidahara. Here, he encounters not salvation, but temptation in the form of Miki, a girl desperate to find her brother.
Irony drips like honeyed poison from this encounter. Miki, seemingly innocent, becomes the instrument of treachery. A pawn controlled by the true antagonist, the enigmatic Barde Barde, who lurks in the shadows like a spider weaving its web. This puppet master seeks the Philosopher’s Stone, a prize more valuable than a king’s ransom, residing within the unfortunate Aish, the Crimson Queen and Amidahara’s resident seer.
The narrative takes a Shakespearean turn as we witness the downfall of Aish. Her power, vast as an ocean, proves no match for the cunning of Barde Barde. He manipulates Rikurou, using him as a conduit to deliver a paralyzing potion disguised within the throes of passion. A betrayal of the flesh, leaving Aish, once a queen in her domain, now helpless and at the mercy of her captor.
Hyperbole reigns supreme as Aish, with a history of lovers more numerous than the stars in the heavens, finds herself outmatched by Rikurou’s stamina, an act orchestrated by Barde Barde to further humiliate and break her. She boasts of her experience, claiming Rikurou a mere novice in the arts of pleasure, yet succumbs to his touch, her defiance crumbling like ancient ruins.
This episode leaves us on a precipice, a cliffhanger worthy of the Bard himself. Will Annerose, the Steel Witch, arrive in time to save her servant and the fallen queen? Or will Barde Barde succeed in his grand design, claiming the Philosopher’s Stone and plunging Amidahara into an age of darkness? Only time, and the next episode, will tell.
