Avast ye, and I'll spin ye a tale about "JK to Ero Giin Sensei Episode 2," a story as predictable as the sunrise, and just as likely to make ye blush. Our protagonist be Kashiwagi, a politician climbin' the greasy mast o' power, but he be a ship runnin' aground, see? His polls be lower than a kraken's belly, and his only hope be Hatsune, his JK assistant with a heart o' gold and a...well, ye get the picture.
It's a classic tale o' forbidden love, like Calypso and Odysseus, if ye replace the island goddess with a schoolgirl in a short skirt and Odysseus with a dude whose idea of adventure is a three-hour filibuster. Kashiwagi be stressin' harder than a man in a hurricane, and Hatsune, bless her innocent soul, decides the best way to relieve his tension is to relieve his, ahem, "political capital."
The irony be thicker than grog, see? Hatsune, thinkin' she's supportin' Kashiwagi's career, be actually usin' the oldest trick in the book. And Kashiwagi, blinded by his ambition and somethin' else entirely, be none the wiser.
The settin' be mostly offices, which, in this story, be about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. One minute they're discussin' policy, the next they're enactin' a different kind o' policy altogether. There be some danger, with a rival politician tryin' to take Kashiwagi down, but honestly, the real threat be the man's own libido.
In the end, Kashiwagi wins his election, more thanks to Hatsune's "special favors" than any actual policy. He promises her a bright future, but one wonders if she'll ever truly be free o' the web she's woven. This ain't no love story, matey, it be a cautionary tale about the corruptin' power o' ambition, lust, and conveniently placed office furniture.
