The story begins with a man drowning his sorrows in booze after losing his job. He stumbles into a girls' bar, where he meets a bubbly but seemingly ditzy bartender. Despite his usual nervousness around women, he finds her easy to talk to, and they strike up an odd friendship. Fast forward a month, and fate throws them together again when she loses her job too. Drunk and desperate, she propositions him, leading to a messy, alcohol-fueled encounter that’s equal parts awkward and raw. The story doesn’t shy away from the gritty reality of their situation—sweat, barf, and all. While the chemistry between the characters feels genuine, the plot leans heavily on clichés, and the dialogue can be cringe-worthy at times. Still, there’s a strange charm in how unapologetically human and flawed they are. It’s not a love story, but it’s real—messy, uncomfortable, and oddly relatable.
