Alright, buckle up because this anime's about as subtle as a brick to the face. It's called "Hitou Meguri" which I *think* means something like "Wandering Lust" but honestly, it could mean "My Neighbor's Petunia" for all I know.

So, picture this: there's this girl, Chitose, who's like, *super* innocent. Like, she probably thinks babies come from storks and that kissing gives you cooties. She works at a hotel, which is basically a giant neon sign for trouble in anime-land. Enter the "frivolous man," who's basically a walking, talking cliché of every jerk you've ever met. He's got this whole "I'm a city boy, you wouldn't understand" vibe going on.

Anyway, Chitose's all "my first time has to be super romantic, like under the moonlight" and this dude's like "hold my beer" and basically jumps her. And surprise, surprise, she's into it! It's like watching a car crash in slow motion, you just can't look away. There's this whole thing about how she's "horny" but she doesn't want to admit it, which is kind of like saying the sky *might* be blue.

But wait, there's more! It turns out there's this whole other level of messed up because this "frivolous man" is connected to some shady characters who kidnap Chitose's aunt (who's younger than her, because anime logic) and then use that as leverage to, you guessed it, do more messed up stuff to both of them.

There's a bunch of weird metaphors thrown in there, like comparing something to anesthetic, which makes no sense since this anime is anything *but* numbing. And don't even get me started on the pearls… just… no.

The whole thing is supposed to be sexy, I guess, but it just comes across as creepy and kinda sad. It's like someone took all the worst parts of a soap opera and crammed them into 20 minutes of animation. The irony here is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal: Chitose wants this big romantic experience, and instead, she gets a crash course in the worst parts of humanity.

So yeah, there you have it. "Hitou Meguri." Not exactly the feel-good anime of the year.
