## Helter Skelter Episode 1: Murky Village Part 1 - A Third Grader's Not-So-Subtle Review

Okay, so this episode starts off all sunshine and rainbows, like a trip to Disney World, but with more hot springs and less Mickey Mouse. The Kagami family, who are like, super famous (think Kardashians but Japanese and way more into fashion), get tricked into this TV show about secret hot springs. There's Sayoko, the mom, who makes fancy clothes; Fubuki, the cool older sister who's also a fashionista; Haruka, the little sister who's like a bouncy puppy and takes her clothes OFF for magazines (eww!); and then there's Miyu, the prettiest girl in college who everyone wants to be but is also kinda shy.

So, they get to this village in the mountains, and the TV guy, Mr. Kasukabe, is all smiles and compliments, like a kid who just found a cookie jar. But guess what? He's sneakier than a snake in the grass! Turns out the whole show is a big, fat LIE to lure the Kagami family into this creepy festival called the "Hunting Festival." And guess what they "hunt"? Yep, you guessed it - NOT deer!

Miyu stumbles upon the village elders being all creepy and whispery (like when grown-ups talk about stuff they don't want you to know), and suddenly, she's the star attraction - the "Shishigami." Which basically means she's the village buffet... but for *inappropriate* things! 🤢 It's like being picked first for dodgeball, but instead of a ball, it's *gross stuff* I can't write about because my mom checks my computer history.

Long story short (too late!), Miyu gets taken advantage of in the worst way possible, even in her butt, which sounds super painful! Then, her mom tries to be a hero (Go, Mom!) but ends up in the same mess. And wouldn't you know it, the creepy village elder is actually a disgruntled ex-employee of the dad! Talk about holding a grudge! He even admits to bumping off Miyu's dad! Drama, drama, drama! 🤯

The episode ends with everyone being held hostage, and Miyu's mom... well, let's just say she's in the same predicament as a donut in a police station - surrounded and not in a good way! It's like that time I forgot to do my homework AND spilled juice on my project - a total disaster! I can't believe they ended it like that! Now I gotta wait 'til next time to see what happens! 😡😭
