Okay, so like, episode 5 of Harem Camp! is SO WEIRD! It's like they went on a field trip but forgot all the other kids and tents. They call it a "group camp," but it's basically a hot spring sleepover party with just one teeny, tiny tent.
You've got Haruki, the teacher who's about as smooth as a cheese grater, sweating like a pig around all the girls. Then there's Saionji, the student who's always acting all cool and collected, except when she's putting Haruki through the wringer – which is like, ALL THE TIME! It's like watching a penguin try to teach a walrus to fly.
Speaking of penguins, the other girls are kinda just there, like background penguins in a nature documentary. They even sing this super catchy song about camping!
Anyway, Saionji tricks Haruki into the wrong bathhouse, which is like, the oldest trick in the book. She's all "You need DISCIPLINE!" and then makes him do all sorts of...things. Let's just say she's got him wrapped around her little finger like a spider web.
The whole episode is just a big ball of awkward and uncomfortable, like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. But hey, at least they got to go to a hot spring, right? And that song is a total earworm! I can't wait to see what kind of wacky shenanigans they get into next episode!
