Okay, so buckle up for Gakuen Shinshoku: XX of the Dead Episode 2, where the tentacles are plentiful and the plot is, well, about as clear as mud after a rainstorm.
Our hero, Hoichi, is like that one kid in class who always loses his stuff, except now he's losing his friends to a weird mist that turns everyone into tentacle monsters. It's like a really messed-up game of tag, but instead of getting tagged, you become a creepy crawly thing.
Remember Touka from Episode 1? Yeah, she's back, but she's gone full-on Darth Vader, joined the dark side, and is now controlling the tentacle people. Her mission: eliminate any girl who even looked at Hoichi funny. Talk about sibling rivalry!
Speaking of girls, there's Natsumi, the sporty one who Hoichi kinda sorta likes. She gets caught in the tentacle crossfire and, well, let's just say she learns to appreciate the "power" of the mist. It's like the opposite of those anti-drug commercials, except with more… tentacles.
And then there's Tsutsuji-senpai, who's basically stuck in a horror movie but forgot to pack her running shoes. She ends up getting frisky with Hoichi in the library, because apparently, when a tentacle apocalypse is happening, the Dewey Decimal System is the least of your worries.
The whole thing is full of irony, like finding a moldy sandwich in your lunchbox and being excited because it's something to eat. The girls are all supposed to be scared, but they end up liking the tentacles a little too much. It's all very strange and kinda gross, but hey, that's tentacle monsters for you!
Will Hoichi save his friends? Will someone find a can of Raid strong enough for these tentacles? Tune in to Episode 3 to find out… or don't, I'm not your mom.
