Okay, so like, imagine if your classmate totally looked like your older sister, but like, in a weird way? That's what's happening to Akira in "Anehame" (which sounds like "Anime" and "Shame" had a baby!). He's got a HUGE crush on Shirayuki, who's basically his sister Rio's doppelganger, only with maybe smaller...you know.
Speaking of Rio, she's like a hurricane of awkward! She crashes into Akira's life, teases him mercilessly, and acts all touchy-feely, like when she helps him "pee in the toilet" (ew!). She's like that kid in class who tells embarrassing baby stories, but instead of stories, it's...other stuff.
This whole story is like playing Twister in a broom closet – super cramped and everyone's ending up in weird positions! Rio's got a boyfriend (thank goodness!), but she's also super clingy with Akira. It's like she's trying to win "Worst Timing Ever" award.
The metaphors? Okay, so Rio's like a bull in a china shop, only the china shop is Akira's love life. And remember the story of Icarus flying too close to the sun? Well, Akira's flying REAL close to the "being arrested" sun!
This episode basically ends with them, you know...and it's all kinds of messed up. It's like they took the "ick factor" and cranked it up to eleven! Rio's all "we're siblings, it's natural!" which is SO not the case. It's like saying eating broccoli is natural, but then dipping it in chocolate sauce and calling it a salad!
So yeah, "Anehame" is like that train wreck you can't look away from. It's wrong, it's uncomfortable, and I'm pretty sure my brain needs a shower now.
