Okay, so like, "Aikagi The Animation Episode 1" is TOTALLY about this guy Nozomu who's like, "Oh man, adulting is hard, I dunno how to laundry." And Shiori's all like, "Hold my juice box, I got this." She's been living on her own 'cause her parents are NEVER around - kinda like those parents who are always on business trips in those movies.
So, Nozomu's supposed to be getting ready to live on his own for college, but he's about as independent as a baby bird that hasn't figured out flying yet. Shiori's like the super-organized one, but also kinda ditzy sometimes. It's like she's playing a prank on him by acting all spacey, but then BAM! She's got the place sparkling clean.
They end up living together for a WHOLE month before college even starts. His parents were surprisingly cool with it, like it was NO BIG DEAL. *cough* Anyway, they do a bunch of "chores" together, if you know what I mean. It's like, every time they're folding laundry, it magically turns into a game of Twister with less clothing.
The irony is RICHER than a chocolate cake! They're like, all lovey-dovey and "Oh, we'll study hard to get into the same college!" But they're already doing the grown-up sleepover thing! It's like Romeo and Juliet, but with more...studying?
And don't even get me started on the metaphors! They're always talking about things "going in deep" and "overflowing" and I'm just sitting here like, "My brain is full of juice boxes, I can't think straight anymore!"
So yeah, "Aikagi The Animation Episode 1" - it's a wild ride of laundry mishaps, accidental confessions, and enough double entendres to make your ears blush. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder why you just watched a whole episode about cleaning supplies.
