Okay, strap in, because episode 2 of "Accelerando - Datenshi-tachi no Sasayaki" is like a dumpster fire at a petting zoo: messy, kinda wrong, but you can't look away.
Our main girl, Tomoe, is like that one kid who always shares her toys, except her toy is her, uh, "flower." She's helping out her sick friend, Touru, who needs an operation like a fish needs a bicycle. But instead of having a bake sale, Tomoe is selling her "services" to a creepy guy who makes promises he probably can't keep. Talk about a friend in need, am I right?
Meanwhile, the school bathroom is basically a soap opera set. There's a peeping Tom (shocker!) who's like the Shakespeare of stalkers, dramatically describing everything he sees. And let's just say the girls in the bathroom are about as subtle as a marching band in a library when it comes to, you know, *noticing* they're being watched.
Then, things get about as wild as a hamster on a sugar rush. Tomoe finds herself in a compromising position, not once, but *twice*! It's like she wandered into the wrong movie, except this movie has a lot more, uh, "adult themes."
There's some weird time loop thing happening, like when your DVD skips and you see the same scene over and over. Tomoe and the stalker guy keep having these, let's call them "encounters," and even though she's like, "No way, Jose!" she secretly kinda likes it. It's like that one kid who says they don't want candy, but then eats yours when you're not looking.
By the end, you're left more confused than a goat in a flower shop. There's a fire, a mysterious benefactor, and a lot of unanswered questions. It's like the writers threw darts at a board of plot ideas and just went with whatever stuck.
So yeah, "Accelerando - Datenshi-tachi no Sasayaki" is weird, uncomfortable, and kinda gross. But hey, at least it's never boring!
